What is the Advanced Training for Teachers?
The Advanced Course for Yoga Teachers (ATTC) is based on the Teachers Training Course Yoga Sivananda. It consists of four weeks of intense study and practice of Yoga. Sincere Yoga students gather to give a boost to their spiritual evolution with yogic self-discipline and study of the high Vedanta philosophy. The personal and individual training is an integral part of the course. At the end of the course and having passed the exam, participants receive a Diploma of the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers which give the title of "Acharya", Yoga teacher, who is also recognized by the Yoga Alliance of United States and Canada.

Location: The course will be held at the Enchanted Mountain Center in Garopaba, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The Center offers specially designed rooms and platforms for the practice of Yoga. The accommodation is in comfortable chalets for two / three people and private bathroom. Overlooking the sea and surrounding mountains, in an area with more than 20 hectares of Atlantic Forest is the ideal environment for the practice and study of Yoga.
Language: The course will be taught in Spanish with simultaneous translation into English and Portuguese.
Prerequisite: Advanced Teachers Training Course (ATTC) is open only to Sivananda TTC graduates. A copy of your TTC certificate should be included with the application form.
Registration: Ordering by phone, fax or mail the registration form with the rules of course. Complete both facets, attach your photo, sign it and send it along with the deposit of U.S. $ 300 (ask instructions at the Centre for payment). The deposit is not refundable under any circumstances.
Arrival: January 6 from 10:00 pm. Departure: February 3 until 14:00 pm.
Conditions for participation: Attendance at all activities, meditation sessions, lectures and asana classes is compulsory. Does not allow the consumption of meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, snuff, drugs or see through clothing, since it does not lead to the proper practice of yoga. During the course we cannot cater for personal dietary preferences. Students must obey the instructions of teachers. Violation of these rules may lead to expulsion from the course.

The cost includes instructions, course manual, lodging, two meals and administrative expenses. By virtue of being an international course with teachers from several countries involved, full payment must be made before December 15. In case of cancellation, there is no refund, although it will be issue a credit for the payment, less the initial deposit of U.S. $ 300. This credit may be used for other courses in any Center or Sivananda Ashram.

MASTERS
Swami Sivananda He borned in southern India. He dedicated his entire life to serving humanity. His teachings are a synthesis of all the traditions of Yoga. He wrote over 300 books on Yoga and Vedanta. Swami Sivananda is the spiritual force that inspires the Yoga Teachers Training.
Swami Vishnudevananda He is one of the main disciples of Swami Sivananda and he was sent by his master to the West in 1957. Author of "The Book of Yoga”, “Meditation and Mantras", "Karma and Reincarnation," plus a review of Hatha Yoga Pradipika.
TEACHERS
Kanti Devi (Yoga Acharya) She is Director of the Sivananda Centers in Montevideo and Buenos Aires. She has organized the International Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training courses in South America since the 70s. Direct disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda, she is known for her charisma and dedication.
 Swami Gopalananda Also a direct disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda, he is director of the Sivananda Yoga Center in Madrid. His broad knowledge are enriched by his deep devotion.
Swami Premananda He was trained at the Sivananda Centres in Uruguay, Canada and Spain. He is a dedicate student of yoga and its philosophy. He has a deep inclination towards singing and devotional music. He currently manages the Sivananda Center in Buenos Aires and he is a professor of international courses that are taught in Brazil and Spain.
In addition to the main teachers, we will have special guests and the participation of teachers Sivananda of South America.
What should you bring? "The Book of Yoga" and "Meditation and Mantras" by Swami Vishnudevananda. Both can be purchased at the Sivananda Yoga Centers. Also bring your TTC manual and your TTC uniform. Asana mat, meditation cushion, towel and toiletries, notebook, pen, warm clothing, bathing suit, comfortable walking shoes, raincoat, umbrella, alarm clock, sunscreen and insect repellent.
